Robin Mitchell Cranfield  is the principal of hundreds & thousands. Her work has been recognized  by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Applied Arts, How magazine's International Design Awards  and the Alcuin Society .

This year, Robin is a visiting professor at Simon Fraser University in 2015 and a member of faculty at Emily Carr University of Art + Design for typography, illustration and book design. She lives in Vancouver with her husband and son.

Alcuin Awards for Excellence in Book Design in 2002, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Robin is serving on the Alcuin judges' panel this year.

Graphics & Illustration

In September 2014 Loud Crow Entertainment began releasing a series of ten storybook apps called Windy & Friends on iTunes and Android. The series is illustrated and directed  jointly by Robin and her friend and collaborator Judith Steedman, based on their books of the same name. The apps have been frequently featured on iTunes and won several awards, including the iKids Award and the Parents' Choice seal of approval (twice).

Robin's illustrations have appeared in Made Magazine, Junior Magazine and Inside Magazines | Gingko Press and used for fashion campaigns by labels including Aritzia.
